Convenient Location
Located on the southeast edge of campus,
Courtside and Cedarcraft provide the most convenient
location for NSU students
in Tahlequah. Classes, the university bookstore, postal drop
zone,
computer labs, the John Vaughn Library, the NSU Fitness Center
and several Sodexho Marriott food service locations are all
within
walking distance. There is ample parking at Courtside and
Cedarcraft as well as
quick access to downtown Tahlequah.
Kid Friendly
Courtside and Cedarcraft are great places for kids!
Cherokee Elementary
School is just blocks away. Older children can make easy
school bus connections to
Central Middle School,
Tahlequah Junior High School and
Tahlequah Senior High School.
And wondering what to do with the kids during the summertime?
The Housing Department
publishes an annual guide to children's summer programs
(available May 1). There are
many programs—both on campus and off campus —that your child can
enroll in. Does
your child need some extra help with reading or other subjects?
The
NSU Literacy Center
offers free summer tutorial programs for children.
